Teenage & Marriage

When Muhammad was twelve, he attended on a business journey to Syria, with his uncle. When they reached Busra & they met a monk called Bahira. He readily enough recognized the future prophet & introduced him as the final messenger of Allah.

Even before the prphethood friends of called him as ‘Al-Ameen’ (the trustworthy) & ‘As-Siddeek’ (trustful). Muhammad had no particular job at his early youth. But at the age 25, he went to Syria as a merchant. For Kadijah with her hireling. When they returned to Makkah, Khadijah noticed, in her money, more profits & blessings than she used to. Her hireling also told her of Muhammad’s good manner, honesty, deep thought, sincerity and faith. As a result of these qualities which Muhammad had, she made a proposal & subsequently they were married. When the marriage was being happened Muhammad was 25 years old & Khadijah was 15 years elder than him. He gave her twenty camels as dowry. She was the first woman, whom the Muhammad married. He didn’t marry to any other until she had died.Khadijah bore all his children, except Ibrahim: Al-Qasim, Zainab, Ruqaiyah, Umm Kulthum, Fatimah and ‘Abdullah who was called Tayib & Tahir .All his sons died in their childhood & all the daughter except Fatimah died during his life time. Fatimah died after six month after his death.
